- 1 -Abstract:The invention relates to a terminal box for the motor-compressor of a refrigeration device. The terminal boxcontains internal divisions for the starting relay and thethermal protection relay employed with such refrigerationdevices. The internal division are separated by wallsthat thermally isolate the two relays. The electricalterminals are located on a wall of the box that, wheninstalled on the motorcompressor located inside a suitablecabinet, face the service operator for ease of attachmentand removal of the electrical connectors. The box issuitably shaped that it does not project outwardly bya significant distance from the motorcompressor whenattached thereto. The terminal box conveniently housesall of the external elements of the motorcompressor ina space-saving manner while allowing for easy access.
