A motion simulator system for use for example as a flight simulator system includes a platform unit 1 supported by a plurality of hydraulic rams 2 each controlled by a servo-valve 3. A control circuit (Figure 2) is supplied with position and acceleration command signals, which are processed and combined to provide a control signal to the servo-valve 3. High frequency position command signals and low frequency acceleration command signals are eliminated in the processing, and feed-back from transducers 11 and 13 is provided to the control circuit to ensure correct operation of the system as a whole.
