A method is described for verifying the expected market acceptance of products which, compared with the conventional tests, such as so-called blind tests, is notable for a perceptibly improved accuracy of prediction. This is achieved, in particular, in that - the surveys are conducted under conditions which correspond as closely as possible to the practical use situation, - inter alia, the attitude of the test subject to the brand currently used by them is investigated, - as are their attitudes to the test product (after this has been used), - and, in the analysis of the survey, those test subjects questioned are determined who, as regards their answers in respect of their willingness to buy the test product, suggest a low degree of credibility.
