In the case of two-shelled folding walls which can be pulled out, the wall shells are normally fastened on both sides, on the longitudinal sides of the wall shells, on the struts located there-between. The present application shows fastening methods other than this. For example, wall shells located opposite one another are, on the one hand, connected to one another rigidly or in an articulated manner or, on the other hand, in each case one of the two wall shells is connected on one of its longitudinal sides to the associated strut. The wall shells can be connected to one another by means of rigid connections or even articulations, but they can also be connected by means of flexible connecting members, for example for sound damping reasons.
