In the case of fittings for high-voltage overhead lines, especially field spacers, two or more live conductor cables (2) of one and the same phase are coupled in an approximately universally-jointed moving manner via a spacer rod (1) which ensures the constant separation on the conductor cables, and this mobility is achieved by the insertion of a rubber-elastic material (4) at at least one point on the spacer rod (1), it being possible for this material (4) also to be used for damping the movements and for potential equalisation. ??In order to be able to select and dimension the elastic material (4) for a high life expectancy as well as for the desired mechanical properties, the functions of mutual mobility on all sides and in a damped manner of the parts which are coupled via the spacer rod (1) and of electrical potential equalisation are split. For this purpose, an elastic potential equaliser (10) which is designed especially for this task and consists of a highly conductive material (for example spiral spring 11) is allocated to the rubber-elastic material (4), which potential equaliser (10) makes good electrically conductive contact with the metal surfaces (19, 20) of the parts (2, 9) which are coupled via the material (4).
