Device for gripping and removing crowns, bridges or the like on or from dental stumps 7 with destruction of the fixing cement. The device has a removal frame 2 of U-shaped cross-section and with legs 3. The side facing the crown, bridge or the like is provided with a moulding pad 5 of an adhesive for the corresponding parts of the jacket surface of the crown 6, bridge or the like. The removal frame 2 has a centrically acting eye 4 or other type of undercut for attachment of a removal device.
