The process is characterised in that a location-independent masonry-wall machine makes possible the automatic production of brick masonrywork with conventional bricks and normal masonry mortar. The machine is mounted on a travelling mechanism and can thus be transported to any desired location. The masonry-wall bricks are laid, by a helper, on the conveyor belt, via which the masonry-wall bricks pass onto the roller track. From there, they are received, over the entire length of the roller track, by brick grippers and are laid in layers onto the load-bearing structure, which is seated on the masonry-wall carriage. If one brick layer has been laid on and the brick grippers are removed again, the mortar carriage runs automatically over the previously laid row, closes off the joints and applies a new bed of mortar. The masonry-wall carriage then moves downwards by the extent of one brick, and a new layer can thus be laid. If the masonry wall is finished, the load-bearing structure, along with the finished masonry wall, is suspended on a heavy lift crane and installed. As preparatory work for installation, it is necessary to lay the lowermost brick row - at least 11.5 cm in height plus the top bed of mortar - beforehand since the load-bearing structure cannot otherwise be used. Thereafter, the masonry-wall panels are laid on the provided row. The load-bearing structure is then dismantled and taken back to the masonry-wall machine, for receiving a new wall panel, and is assembled again.
