The staircase prefabrication method uses a number of separate one-piece components, these each consisting of two concrete portions at right angles, forming a tread and a riser. These components are moulded on a table, one of the portions being formed horizontally on the table and the other along its edge and vertically. The table can have horizontal (2) and vertical faces (4), while shuttering components (16, 17, 18) are mounted on it to form the moulds. The concrete is subsequently poured into the mould to form the unitary components.
