The sleeve for protecting a power-cable splice comprises two half-shells 1a, 1b assembled together. The edge 2a of one 1a of the two half-shells comprises a rib 12 engaged in a groove 13 made in the edge 2b of the other half-shell 1b. The groove 13 is edged by a flexible wall 14. The rib 12 engaged in the groove has a face 12a making an angle a of a few degrees with the internal face 14a of the flexible wall 14. The space formed by this angle is filled with a mastic strip 16 which is deformed and compressed between the said faces 12a and 14a. Use for protecting telephone and power cables from moisture. IMAGE
