Improvement to transfer devices of the Archimedean screw type, intended for the conveying of fibrous, powdery or granular products

Device for the transfer of fibrous, powdery or granular products with a regular flow rate, and with absence of packing and compression around the core of the screw. It is constituted by a central core 1 produced from a cylindrical tube on which is wound one or more helical ramps 2 of constant external diameter, the assembly moving inside a trough whose volume circumscribes the external diameter of the ramp or ramps as closely as possible. The downstream end of each helical ramp is wound around a truncated cone section 3 extending the corresponding end of the cylindrical core, the diameter of the small base of the said truncated cone section corresponding to that of the cylindrical core, the diameter of the large base being able to be less than, equal to or greater than the external diameter of the helical ramp. The downstream end of the ramp may have its end point located on this large base or upstream of the latter, the width of the ramp being able to be, at this point, a minimum or zero. IMAGE
