The invention relates to a process for preparing factors for the attachment of Bacteroides, characterised in that: a) a soluble antigenic extract of Bacteroides is prepared from a strain of Bacteroides; b) this extract is exposed to an immobilised sugar receptor; c) then the factors for attachment which are fixed on the said receptor are separated. t
