Electric bulb for fluorescent lighting. The invention relates to a fluorescent electric discharge bulb with concentric two-way longitudinal emission obtained by welding a glass tube separating the electrodes of the stem 1, and with supply and fixing by a contact base 12 on one side only of the bulb. It consists of a glass envelope 13 of cylindrical shape 10, inside which is stuck 17 a fluorescent powder, and which is closed at one end by a round bottom 15 and the other end of which is welded 11 to a hollow glass stem 1 supporting the electrical rig. The latter carries four electrodes 2, 3, 4, 5 welded in line and closing its internal end 18. The two electrodes in the centre are particularly close so as to facilitate the welding of the internal baffle tube 8, the latter being open 14 at its second end.
