A combination of devices fitted to a guitar as a replacement for the conventional strings, by means of which new sounds and effects may be produced by actually playing the instrument when connected to a musical synthesizer. The invention relates to a combination of devices fitted to a guitar, necessitating the removal of the string-holder, strings and tuning pegs in order to connect it to a range of switching circuits and to a synthesizer in order to produce new sounds and effects by operating on these devices. The complete system is made up of devices comprising, on the soundboard 5, six coloured parallel laser beams 10 which excite a series of photoresistant cells 8, which latter are activated when obscured, simultaneously with a keyboard of 126 "sensitive" keys 2 positioned on the neck 1 and connected to the oscillating and switching circuits. The combination of the devices fitted to a guitar, according to the invention, is particularly aimed at improving the musical instrumental scene. IMAGE
