摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an Ni-base self-fluxing alloy for plasma spraying effecting low porosity and high hardness equal to those effected by remelting treatment with obviating the necessity of said remelting treatment, by incorporating specific percentage of B, Si, Cr, C and Fe and by specifying the total amount of B and Si. CONSTITUTION:The Ni-base self-fluxing alloy for use in application of plasma spraying to spindles, etc., having a composition consisting of, by weight, =5% B, =1% Si, 5-30% Cr, 0.1-2% C, =5% Fe, and the balance Ni with inevitable impurities and satisfying B+Si=8-15% is prepared. When plasma spraying is exerted by use of this alloy, low porosity and high hardness equal to those effected by remelting treatment can be obtained with obviating the necessity of remelting treatment unlike gas spraying.
