PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a cylindrical product consisting of a composite metallic material by mounting a fiber reinforcing material molded to an approximately cylindrical shape to the inside peripheral surface of a rotary metallic mold in tight contact therewith, rotating the rotary metallic mold and impregnating and solidifying the molten metal poured to the inside into the fiber reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:A parting material 44 is coated on the inside surface of the rotary metallic mold 10. The approximately cylindrical fiber reinforcing material 12 is mounted on the inside surface of the rotary metallic mold and is rotated integrally with the rotary metallic mold 10. The molten metal 16 of an Al alloy, etc. is poured in this state from a ladle 18 into the mold through a hole 32 at the center of a metallic mold 34 of an upper cap.
