METHOD FOR REMOVING DREGS OF SAMSHU

PURPOSE:To remove dregs from SAMSHU (Chinese wine from rice or millet) and to uniformize the quality of SAMSHU in each small bottle, by pouring SAMSHU from a far into small bottles, connecting the bottles with a dregs- collection bottle through hoses and turning the small bottles upside down. CONSTITUTION:Dregs-containing SAMSHU filled in a jar 1 is divided into small bottles and the dregs are removed by the following process. The SAMSHU in the jar 1 is poured into a plurality of small bottles 4 under vigorous agitation. The small bottle 4 filled with SAMSHU is connected with a collection bottle 10 through a flexible synthetic resin hose 11 and is turned upside down. The dregs are collected in the collection bottle 10. The small bottle 4 is turned to the original position while keeping the collection bottle 10 in stationary state preventing oscillation of the bottle and is disconnected from the collection bottle.
