SHAPING ROLLING MILL FOR WIDE FLANGE BEAM AND RESEMBLING SHAPE STEEL

PURPOSE:To produce wide flange beams having different flange widths by providing upper and lower shaping rolls inscribed with plural calibers of different depths to right and left sleeves fitted onto arbors freely expandably and contractably in the longitudinal direction of the arbor bodies in such a manner that said rolls can move freely vertically with respect to the pass line. CONSTITUTION:This shaping rolling mill is constituted by fitting a pair of the right and left sleeves 11a, 11b onto the arbors of the upper and lower shaping rolls in such a manner that the sleeves can expand and contract freely in the longitudinal direction of the arbor bodies. The distance X1 between the sleeves 11a, 11b is preliminarily adjusted to obtain the parting distance of the calibers 13a, 13b corresponding to a web height H1 in the case of subjecting a rolling material 5b having a flange width F2 to shaping rolling. The parting distance of the calibers 12a, 12b is set at H1 and the roll chocks are vertically adjusted as much as the increased or decreased component of the width F1 in the case of rolling the rolling material 5a having the same web height H1 and narrow flange width F1. The selective rolling of the wide flange beams having the specified web height and different flange widths with the common shaping rolls is thus made possible.
