PURPOSE:To attain reduction in error by eliminating the generation of static friction at the start time of the rotation of a pulley, by supporting a wire by the pulley pivotally supported through a bearing and forcibly rotating said bearing. CONSTITUTION:Both of a pair of pulleys 1, 1 are pivotally supported through bearings 2, 2 and both shafts 3, 3 of said pulleys 1, 1 are rotationally driven by motors 4, 4. The rotary directions of both shafts 3, 3 are mutually opposite and both of them rotate to the outer direction. A wire 5 is fixed to a base stand 6 to be trained over the pulleys 1, 1 and the receiving plate 7 of a wt. 13 is connected to the other end thereof. Further, a dynamometer 8 is mounted to the intermediate part between the pulleys 1, 1 and the intermediate part of the wire 5 is inserted in and engaged with the notch of the lower end of the lever 12 of said dynamometer 12. At the time of calibration by static load, the wt. 13 placed on the receiving plate 7 is changed after the rotation of the motors 4, 4 to determine the output of the corresponding dynamometer 8. By this method, an error can be reduced.
