ERRONEOUS OPERATION PREVENTING STRUCTURE OF KICK STARTER LEVER IN KICK STARTER

PURPOSE:To prevent contact of kick starter lever from the body frame by providing a projected chip on the body side sideface under containment of kick starter lever while providing a guide section engagable with said projected chip at predetermined body side position. CONSTITUTION:The kick starter lever 12 of kick starter has one end section fixed rotatably through a shaft 14 and the other end provided with a kick pedal 15. In the kick starter lever 12, a projected chip 16 is provided in the way of body side sideface at the position A where it is contained to the body side. A guide member 17 is mounted at the position where it may contact upon rotation of kick starter lever 12 while containing. In such a manner, the kick starter lever can be prevented from contacting with the body frame or the clutch over.
