BRUSH SPARK DETECTOR OF ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE

PURPOSE:To prevent dusts from adhering to a photoreceptor end by coating the end approached to the slider of a brush with a tube, and feeding clean air under pressure toward the slider. CONSTITUTION:A detector couples steel tubes 5, 8 with nuts 9, a disk-shaped supporting plate 7 formed with many pores at one end side near the slider of a brush 2 is interposed between the tubes 5 and 8, and a photoelectric converter 3 is mounted at the center of the plate 7. Further, a metal gauze 10 is so mounted at the end of the tube 8 as to coat a hole. A filter 6 is mounted at the other end of the tube 5, and a vent tube 11 is connected. With this construction, clean air fed from the tube 11 is blown through the converter 3. Thus, it can prevent dusts such as carbon dusts from adhering to the converter 3.
