PURPOSE:To effect reduction of analyzing time and simplification of analyzing operation, by solving a high-molecular substance for dividing its solution in the gel- chromatography separating phase per molecular weight, collecting the low molecular component in the collecting separating phase and separating and analyzing in the reversed-phase liquid chromatography separating phase. CONSTITUTION:Specimen solution solved in tetra-hydrofuran is poured into a tetra- hydrofuran stream in the specimen inlet 1. This specimen stream is introduced from a flow path 13 into a gel-chromatography separating column 2. When the outflowing time of the low-molecular component is reached by supervision by a monitor detector, the No.1 6-way flow path switch valve 3 is operated and a connecting flow path 18 of rotor is positioned as shown by the chain line and further, the elutant of the gel-chromatography separating column 2 is guide into a flow-path 24 from the path 23 for supplying the solution to the collecting column. For instance, at the time moment a few minutes later, the No.2 6-way flow-path valve 4 is switched for locating a rotor connecting flow-path 28 in a position as shown by the chain line and a component collected in a collecting column 5 is brought to elution by a polarity solvent and the analysis is conducted by guiding it to the reversed-phase liquid chromatography separating column.
