NATURAL FIRING PREVENTING SYSTEM OF COAL STORAGE WAREHOUSE

PURPOSE:To prevent natural firing of a coal storage warehouse, by a method wherein a titled system is so constituted that, after coal is stored in a wet condition, a moisture content distribution state in a warehouse is always detected, and when a local dry part is detected, water is selectively splinkled to the part. CONSTITUTION:After coal 4 in a wet state is stored in a storage warehouse 2, water content detectors 28a (transmitter) and 28b (receiver) are always actuated to detect a water content distribution state in the warehouse. When a dry part is detected in the storage warehouse 2, a pump 20 is driven, an electromagnetic valve 16 related to one or plural splinkling ports 12 located above said portion is opened, and water is splinkled toward coal 4 through the splinkling ports 12. The splinkling of water is effected until a dry part is not detected by the moisture content detects 28a and 28b. This enables prevention of natural firing of a coal storage warehouse.
