OUTPUT BOOSTER FOR GAS RECIPROCATING EXPANSION CYLINDER

PURPOSE:To boost feed force or output of a piston rod by making it possible to supply compressed gas even in another small pressured chamber at the time of feeding motion of the piston rod. CONSTITUTION:In an expansion cylinder a piston rod is provided with a small piston 2 and a big piston 4 and 2 pieces of small pressured chambers 6, 7 and 1 piece of big pressured chamber 8 are separated and formed on both sides of the big piston 4. Compressed gas is supplied to the small pressured chamber 6 by converting a direction converting valve 10. When the piston rod starts to come down through the small piston 2, the chambers 6, 7 are communicated the compressed gas is supplied also to the chabmer 7, and the piston rod 1 is strongly sent down by pressure worked on the big and small pistons 4, 2. Next to it, the rod is returned upward by returning force based on the difference in the pressured areas of the pistons 4, 2.
