LEADING TUBE POSITION SEARCHING DEVICE OF SMALL-DIAMETER TUBE PROPULSION MACHINE

PURPOSE:To detect and correct the dislocation of a leading body without using a large-scaled device by incorporating an azimuth meter, a rotation meter and a clinometer on the internal axis line of the leading body and searching the embedded position of the leading body from each detection signal. CONSTITUTION:A leading part 2 having a tapered notch 2A is screwed on the front end of the leading body 1, and on the back end an indentation rod 3 is screwed to form a leading tube. In the hollow of the leading body 1 the azimuth meter 4, the rotation meter 5 and the clinometer 6 are incorporated on the axis line of the leading body. Then the azimuth meter 4 detects shifts at both sides, the clinometer detects shifts in a vertical direction, and the rotation meter detects the rotating position of the tapered surface 2A. The results are put into together to detect the position of the leading body 1, and its orbit is corrected.
