AUTOMATIC MEASURING INSTRUMENT FOR TALKING CHARACTERISTIC OF PRIVATE BRANCH EXCHANGE

PURPOSE:To automatically attain the connection of talking lines and the measurement of plural talking characteristics by controlling the wiring changeover between a private branch of exchange and various telephone transmission pseudo circuit and measuring the talking characteristic of the private branch of exchange sequentially corresponding to the connection changeover. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 15 is connected to a terminal 49 of a wire changeover section 47 and a level meter 16 is connected to a terminal 51 and a printer 21, a personal computer and a BCD converter 55 are connected to an external bus 53 connecting the oscillator 15 and the level meter 16. An automatic dial telephone set 18a is connected to a terminal 57 of the switch section 47 and the BCD converter 55 is connected to the telephone set 18a and a terminal 59 of the switch section 47. A telephone set pseudo circuit 17 is connected between terminals 61, 63 of the switch section 47, a telephone set pseudo line 3 is connected between the terminals 65 and 67, a PBX 5 is connected between terminals 69 and 71, a station side pseudo line 7 is connected between terminals 73 and 75 and a station pseudo exchange 9 is connected between terminals 77 and 79. Thus, the changeover of the switching section 47 is controlled by using a signal sent from the converter 55 to automate the measurement of plural talking characteristics.
