GAS-SOLID CATALYTIC REACTOR FOR DUST-RICH GAS

PURPOSE:To efficiently treat dust-rich waste gas, by providing fixed cylinder bodies partitioned with partition plates at the both ends of a freely rotatable cylindrical chamber packed with catalyst, and by providing a fan at the outside of the fixed cylinder body of one side. CONSTITUTION:At the both ends of a catalyst-packed cylindrical chamber of freely-rotatable dust-through type, fixed cylinders 12, 13, having a common axis and communicating with each other, are provided. The inside of this cylinder 12 is partitioned into an inducing chamber 15 and discharging chamber 16 by a partition plate, and the other fixed cylinder 13 is partitioned into a shuttle-flow chamber 26 on the upper stream side and a shuttle-flow chamber 27 on the down stream side by a partition plate 19 being in the same plane of the plate 14, and further, a fan 28 is provided. When dirty gas is sent to this solid-gas catalytic reactor, dusts, contained in waste gas, stick to the end surface of catalyst elements 11a, but are blown away by the returning shuttle flow gas. Accordingly the sticking of the dusts are prevented, and that enables a long-term stable treatment of waste gas.
