DEVICE FOR THE REGISTRATION OF HARMFUL SUBSTANCES IN THE AIR, INSERTED IN A CABIN, INTENDED FOR STAYING OF PEOPLE

A device for controlling noxious substances in air supplied to a cabin or to a similar structure occupied by persons, preferably in a motor vehicle, utilises one or a plurality of sensors, controls and/or regulates filter units and/or aeration systems and/or indicates their operation state as a fonction of one or a plurality of measurement values obtained by the sensor(s). In order to economically produce a device of this type which does not require any maintenance and is not cumbersome, is responsive to all current impurities in the air and provides a reliable warning, the sensor (1) is mounted in a casing (2) wherein is formed, on its inlet side, a measurement opening (9) which leads into an air chamber (5) of the casing (2) wherein is arranged a pulsating device (7). One or a plurality of air inlet openings (3) open into the cylindrical space of the air chamber (5). The pulsating device (17) is comprised of a cylinder coupled to an oscillator. In the air chamber (5) there is mounted an air-conditioning apparatus (10), preferably a heater.
