A process for renovating a facade window in existing buildings consisting of a single large window unit or a plurality of smaller window units 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, in which each window unit 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d has a glass frame seated in a rabbet in the frame construction 5, 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f of the window.
