6 alpha -Methylprednisolone derivatives of Formula I IMAGE (I) wherein R1 is 1-oxoalkyl of 2-6 carbon atoms or benzoyl and R2 is 1-oxoalkyl of 2-6 carbon atoms, are pharmacologically efficacious compounds, e.g., as antiinflammatories.
