The pack in intended for hot liq. material which solidifies on cooling. It consists of a cardboard box folded from a single blank on the inside provided with a layer which repels and is resistant against the contents. The blank comprises a bottom panel (1) connected, via fold lines, with long (2, 3) and short (4, 5) side panels (with rectangular diagonally foldable corner panels (6-9). The respective folds are arranged such that, in the set-up position, there are no joins on the inside (the corner panels forming double-layer triangular flaps folded against and secured to the outside of the panels (2, 3) whilst all fold lines extending upwards from the bottom end at or near the top. The blank pref. consists of corrugated cardboard sandwiched between paper layers whereby the inner layer may consist of grease-proof or siliconised paper.
