The assembly has at least one driver rake (12) which can rotate around an upwardly extending axis and which has tines. Several of the tines can be formed as plates fastened to the outer side of a flexible wall of the rake. The plates can be arranged at or near the underside of the flexible wall (22). The flexible wall can have a reinforcing rim (23). The tines can be secured to the rim, which is made of canvas. They can each have a vertical section, and a horizontal section near the ground.
