The support path transports items through an air-conditioned space, and is pendulum-mounted on two parallel conveyor chains driven in sychronism. It comprises two vertical head plates (4,5) and a supporting portion between them consisting of two or more opposite moulded surfaces, fitting via rectangular bosses in two further vertical head plates (8,9) with protruding trunnions (10,11) hinging in the chains. The rectangular bosses slide in slots in the second head plates, these each having a circular portion at one end in which the boss can turn when the moulded surface is changed on the support, and a portion in which the boss fits closely in the working position.
