The probe (1) comprises a metal element (5) which is arranged (secured 6) on its outer surface between its lower (3) and upper (4) end and extends in longitudinal direction whilst being bendable. The element is pref a metal chain extending parallel to the axis of the probe over at least 30 cm and may have its ends secured by binding wire (6), pref covered by a protective, e.g. cement, layer (7). The lower end (3) may contain a steel sampling chamber (2).
