The awning comprises a canvas or cloth piece (1) fitted on a multi-tube bearing structure with vertical sections at its bottom. The bottom end of each section has a welded sleeve to receive the top of a scaffold member for fixing by screws. Pref. the awning is a double-sloped awning. At the apex of the awning is a bar (7) which passes through the axis of a curved screw. This is fixed by tightening screws to one tube of the bearing structure.
