There are described potent parasiticidal and insecticidal active substances of the formula I IMAGE in which R represents C1-C10-alkyl; R1 represents hydrogen, a methyl, acyl or silyl group;R2 is methyl, ethyl or isopropyl; and R3 denotes hydrogen or an OH group; where, when R3 is hydrogen, there exists a 22,23-double bond or single bond and, where R3 denotes an OH group, there exists a 22,23-single bond, and the preparation of these active substances starting from the correspondingly substituted 15-esters or 13 beta -esters of S541-antibiotics.
