Additional redn. gas for blast furnace - is produced by partially oxidising coke furnace gas

The operation of a blast furnace is carried out using an additional reduction gas obtained from coke furnace gas. The uncleaned gas is a) partially oxidised with oxygen in a rotating tube reactor; b) the combustion products CO2 and H2O directly joined to the glowing coke are separated and c) the decomposed coke furnace gas is fed to the blast furnace.
