Method for preparing a stable aqueous dispersion of a Polymer, Frozen, and a drug. Consists of: a) Dissolving in an organic Solvent miscible with water, Drugs and a biodegradable amphipathic Copolymer with a Weight Average Molecular Weight of at least 1.000, Where The Hydrophobic component is biodegradable or hydrolytically unstable under normal Physiological conditions, and where the Hydrophilic Component may or may not be biodegradable or hydrolytically unstable in such conditions, and the polymer is self dispersible in water to form a di Slowly Add spersion Stable; (b) an excess of water to the solution vigorously agitated,To produce a stable dispersion fine; and c) freeze the dispersion.
