ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR A SLAT BLIND CONTAINED IN A SEALED DOUBLE GLAZED WINDOW

A B S T R A C TA sealed double glazed window comprises two spaced panesof glass sealed in a frame and a slat blind positionedin the space between the panes having control means foradjusting the slats. The inner pane of glass has a holetherethrough for providing access to the control meansof the slat blind. An adjusting device is mounted aboutthe hole so that the slats of the blind may be adjustedwhile maintaining the window seal. The adjusting devicehas a flexible diaphragm sealed about the hole and hasadjusting means passing the hole from the diaphragm tothe control means thereby maintaining the hermeticseal of the window unit.
