SCHEDULED HOT WATER HEATING BASED ONAUTOMATICALLY PERIODICALLY ADJUSTED HISTORICAL DATAAbstract of the Disclosure:A conventional hot water heating systemgenerally of the type for heating water in multipleunits of hotels, motels and the like and using anyheating medium has a processor and control assemblyoperationally connected to at least a heating controlmeans, a water temperature sensing means and a waterflow sensing means thereof. The processor and controlassembly divides the time into exact time periods, sayone-half hour, and the time periods are grouped into agroup of consecutive time periods, say a week. Takingany individual time period, a directly preceding timeperiod is checked with the same time period in thepreceding group of time periods and if the two matchwithin a given degree, the assembly adopts all of itssettings from its particular time period a week ago. Inaddition, the assembly exactly records the varioussettings throughout that particular time period and whenthat time period comes up again one week from now, thoseare the new settings by the processor and controlassembly to be used. Still further, at any time in atime period that high hot water flow from the water tankis detected by the water flow sensing means and theheating control means has not yet begun to begin heatingmore hot water, the water flow will immediately turn onthe heating control means to thereby eliminate needlessdelays in the heating of water. By the heating of waterin the manner described, therefore, the maximum watertemperature can always be maintained at a minimum andthere is still relative assurance of a hot water supplyat all times.
