LINE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CASTINGS, PARTICULARLYBY COUNTER-PRESSURE CASTING(Abstract)A line for the production of castings which comprises severalfunctionally and kinematically interconnected units: a turntablemachine on the table of which there are mounted units for castingunder counter-pressure in casting moulds, and sealed chambers,in which there are disposed crucibles with molten metal, eachcasting mould being provided with a device for displacing andclosing it. Outside the turntable machine there are disposedmetering devices with pouring spouts, and the units for counter-pressure casting comprise movable sealed chambers for moltenmetal, and between the pouring spouts or close to one of themthere is mounted a device for checking the level of the moltenmetal in the respective sealed chamber. In the position of theturntable machine for removal of the casting there is installeda device for the removal of the casting.
