PROSTHETIC GARMENT FOR BILATERAL MASTECTOMY

ABSTRACTA prosthetic undergarment is described for a person who hasundergone a mastectomy operation in which the garment islightweight, fitted, and comfortable to wear. The garment may havea front opening to enable the wearer to put on and take off thegarment. The garment has a cylindrical body-encircling member onthe front side of which are a pair of breast pockets. Each pocketis adapted to receive a soft, lightweight breast prosthesis. Ashoulder strap is connected at the top of each breast pocket and isconnected at the other end to the rear of the body-encirclingmember.
