This invention concerns oxide dispersion strengthened high temperature alloy compositions which contain as the dispersoid one or more of the alumina-yttria mixed-oxides Al2O3.2Y2O3, Al2O3.Y2O3, and 5Al2O3.3Y2O3. The alloy also contains iron, nickel or cobalt as the major constituent and 0.3 wt.% to 10 wt.% aluminium. It may also contain up to 3 wt.% titanium and up to 30 wt.% chromium.
