Wind-up and/or wind-off reel (1) for rolled strip with a drum (12), which consists of several splayably movable segments (11), which by sliding surfaces (10), which are formed in wedge shape, bear against a reel shaft (7) rotatably borne in a reel housing (3), with a ram (13), which is guided in the reel shaft (7) and connected by means of an attaching flange (14) with the drum segments (11), wherein a setting drive (21) can effect a relative axial displacement between the reel shaft (7) and the ram (13) connected with the segments (11), through which a splaying movement of the segments (11) is brought about, as well as with a displacing drive (30) effecting the pushing in and out of the reel drum (12) relative to the strip shoulder and/or the strip centre regulation, characterised thereby, that the reel shaft (7) is borne to be axially displaceable in the fixedly located reel housing (3), that the setting drive (21) displays a piston-cylinder unit (23, 24), which is secure against rotation relative to the fixedly located reel housing (3), yet displaceable axially for the splaying action on the reel shaft (7), that a compression spring (15) as is in itself known holds the segments (11) constantly in the splayed state, and that the displacing drive (30) consists of a piston-cylinder unit, by means of which the reel shaft (7) is loadable to be displaceable axially.
