In order to eliminate the influence of gravity in the case of hanging axes of a machine tool or axes of a robot riding on one another, a control variable (MS) is inserted into the control circuit (R, S) in the case of controlled drives, which counteracts the influence of weight. A high dynamic of the overall arrangement can thus be achieved.
