Process for the preparation of mesophilic microorganisms containing D-hydantoinase active at a higher temperature

A genetic engineering process for the preparation of mesophilic microorganisms which contain a hydantoinase which is active at elevated temperature, and DNA sequences which code for these enzymes, are described.
