A method to extrude profiles comprising at least one first part and one second part, having different physical and mechanical properties, the first part (1, 6, 13, 17, 21, 24) having the properties of plastomers and being made of at least one first thermoplastic compound, whilst the second part (2, 7, 12, 16, 20, 25) has the properties of elastomers and is made of at least one second vulcanizable compound, said first and second compounds being extrudable, wherein the said method is characterized in that is essentially consists of : - feeding a single extrusion die with said first and second extrudable compounds, these compounds being sent simultaneously into the single die, at their respective extrusion temperatures which are generally different, and in such a way that the two compounds do actually come into contact with one another inside the die, only and along their connecting surfaces (3, 8, 14, 18, 22, 26) inside the extruded profile ; - then cooling the extruded profile below the softening point of the first compound, and - finally vulcanizing the second part of the extruded profile.
