The medical therapy device for promoting bone and tissue growth has an electrical generator (10) providing an AC signal with a frequency below 150 Hz. This is fed through a coil (14) or coil set which can be bent through 180 deg. around the limb (16) being treated. The magnetic field provided by the coil (14) or coil set is concentrated by a device applied to or implanted in the limb (16). - Pref. the latter device comprises a ferromagnetic pin inserted in the bone.
