Tool for knocking in pins with no head, comprising a casing (1) constructed as a handle and at the front end of which there is a guide hole (5) for a pin (7) and in which, for transmitting an impact to the pin (7), a push rod (10) is mounted co-axially of the guide hole (5) to be displaceable in a guide (3, 12), characterised in that the push rod (10) is pressed forwardly by a spring (15) against an abutment (8) disposed rigidly in the housing (1) and has at its front end face (9) a depression, particularly a blind hole laterally (14), to accommodate the rear end of the pin (6) and in that the guide (3, 12) of the push rod (10) is located rigidly in the housing (1) between the guide hole (5) and the cavity (13), into which the rear part (11) of the push rod (10) is moveable against the force of the spring (15) and in which a percussion member (16) is guided for displacement co-axially of the push rod (10) and is of a mass suitable to knock in a pin (7).
