A radio installation is proposed which has at least one central radio station (10) and a plurality of radio devices (11) assigned to the central radio station(s). The central radio station transmits a maximum of n-digit digital information elements which are received and evaluated by the radio devices and are shown on a display (47). In order normally to allocate clock information to the received information, digital clock information is automatically transmitted according to the invention along with an information element. A prerequisite for this is that the respective information comprises brief information with no more than n digits minus the digits required for clock information.
