A snow-dust protector (7) for a snow plough consisting, in particular, of a plurality of plough blades (1) comprises a flexible tarpaulin (26) which is attached to a frame (9) and is held tautly. The frame is pivotable and lockable in the region of the upper edge (5) of the snow plough about a tilt axis (15) running approximately parallel to said upper edge (5). The frame (9) consists of at least two supporting links (13) projecting forwards from the snow plough and at least one transverse strut (11) running transversely with respect to said supporting links and holding the tarpaulin (26). In order to provide a snow-dust protector which can be employed without problems in snow-plough blades of varying yieldability and permits a greater setting range with regard to the snow-clearing conditions, provision is made according to the invention for the left and right supporting link (13), viewed in the direction of travel, to be pivotable about the tilt axis (15) into different adjusted positions from one another and to be lockable in said adjusted position, and furthermore, to compensate for the twist caused thereby, for a length compensation device for the transverse strut (11, 11') to be provided (Figure 2).
